Divine Providence Region

Dear Sisters,

Peace and all good.

As a Regional Team, we wish to wholeheartedly thank and congratulate

each one of you for your diligent work, commitment, cooperation and prayers in bringing our region, The Divine Providence, ‘ad experimentum’, to birth.

We began with a lot of fears, confusion, uncertainties and anxieties, but today we find ourselves at a different level with a lot of hope for the future. Indeed, God has been good to us and we believe with Him all things are possible. Thus, trusting in His ever-abiding presence and guidance, we embark on the journey of building our Divine Providence Region.

This initial communication from us after our first official meeting, and subsequent series will be entitled ‘Weaving Together’.  We recognize the hidden presence of our Blessed Mother Mary accompanying us on this journey, a Way within the Way, to weave along with her and her Son the Word of God into the fabric of our everyday life.

This is an ideal and opportune time of entering into regions as we have been enriched with a lot of spiritual materials for our preparation. We received:

  • The seven-day preparatory prayer to usher us into the regions
  • Letters from our Superior General for the 1st and 15th of November
  • Special grace of renewal through the memorial of Bl. Mary of the Passion and,
  • My special address to you during our ceremonial entry into region.

And soon, we will welcome the Season of Advent, a time for further reflection, prayer and renewal as we prepare for the second coming of Christ and the celebration of His glorious birth. If we go through these events faithfully, we would have realized that we have made a significant leap in our spiritual journey.

May our dear mother, Bl. Mary of the Passion inspire us to live with conviction and commitment our membership role for the growth of our Region.

We implore your continuous prayers as we weave together.

I wish you all a fruitful Advent Season.

With much love and prayers,

Julia Mombo Pelenah, fmm

Regional Superior
