ENSKINMENT/ OUTDOORING OF THE JIRAPA NAA

On the 30^th December, 2023 Justice Donglabong Dinaa, was enstooled a

Naa Dinaa Donglabong Ganaa III; as the paramount chief of the traditional area of Jirapa. It was a historical celebration, a platform for many young people to learn about the tradition of Jirapa. Cultural performances in different groups were displayed while waiting for the arrival of the fifth paramount chief to be installed.

However, other sub chiefs, paramount chiefs and other dignitaries where arriving at the celebration ground, while they were taking their seats, the MCs of the programme, took the opportunity to brief the audience on the biography of Justice Donglabong Dinaa as Naa Dinaa Donglabong Ganaa III.

The new chief’s suitability for honour bestowed on him was justified with the statement that “character is key in leadership” This was said to encourage the young men and women present at the celebration that in any leadership position, they need to cultivate a good character that will enable them to relate well with others and be able to lead their people entrusted to them. This is because a leader without a good character or a good behavior, would not be a good leader.
