HUNDRED YEARS OF EXISTENCE OF SACRED HEART PARISH, WINNEBA

One hundred years of worship, prayer and praise, a century of community in joyous sacred ways.

From humble roots, a mighty tree has grown, a parish family with hearts forever known.

Through trials and triumphs, laughter and tears, we have stood as one through all the passing years. From generation-to-generation faith has been shared. A legacy of love forever explored.

The early Christians dream, a reality today, a lived church where love finds its way. The sacraments a source of strength and might, guiding souls, through life’s darkest night.

We are celebrating a hundred years of: baptisms, weddings, and sacred vows, Eucharistic accomplishment and holy hours. Preaching, teaching, and serving the poor, a century of love forever in store.

Through every storm, we have stood as rock, giving hope to all who come our way. Weaving stories of faith, young and old.

As we celebrate this milestone achieved, honoring our past, our present, and looking forward to the future with hope, may the next century be brighter still, shine God’s light, on every hill. May our hearts burn with passion and fire, to love and serve, with one desire. May our faith grow, in every way guiding us forward day by day.

Behind us is infinite power, before us is endless possibilities, around us are boundless opportunities.

There is nothing much more beautiful in this world than a person who cares and has a sense of purpose.

To live is the rarest thing on earth. Some people just exist that is all!
